Akudinobi Resurrects Aba Elephants In The Mist!
Aba, the commercial nerve-centre of Abia State, is popularly known as Enyimba (Elephant city). On Thursday, August 6 by 12 Noon, the world-class designer Tony George Chidi Akudinobi will at the Aba Sports Club hold a groundbreaking exhibition of avant-garde furniture entitled “Resurrecting the Elephants in the Mist”.
The exhibition that will attract the who’s who in Abia State will feature the Abia Governor Okezie Ikpeazu as the Special Guest of Honour. All the Aba big wigs will enjoy the opportunity of peeping into Tony Akudinobi’s unique dialogue with the spirits of the woods. The following words of Bob Marley bears out the theme of the exhibition: “Misty morning, can’t see no sun, but I know you are up there somewhere up there having fun…”
According to Tony Akudinobi, “To all visions and missions in the mist, man scrambles in essence to gain insights for knowledge, work and love to uplift himself and all creation. The weight or size of task is broken into bits of light from the source, which connects with our inner light to blaze path for man to walk as a lamppost. As we walk we raise lampposts for others to use. This is the law of footprints in the sands of time. Be with us as we share and peep into the mists of the Resurrecting Elephants (Enyimba).”
The great event took place at Aba Sports Club 1926, from 12 noon on August 6.
